Growing up, my parents didn’t take many pictures or our small family. My parents owned a camera, but they rarely used it. However, they did regularly hire a professional photographer to make candid snapshots of our family. We usually visited our local photographer every couple of years. Since I married my husband and moved away from my childhood home, my parents, my sister, and I haven’t had any professional photographs made of our close knit family. I feel that this situation needs to change. This is especially the case since our family is growing.
